Informatics Nurse (RN) needed!

We are currently looking for an Informatics Nurse (Corporate Clinical Heath Informatics Specialist) for an electronic medical records program roll out that will cover 38 Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation centers in 5 western states: Arizona, California, Hawaii, Washington, and Utah.

 This person will be the project management leader to plan and implement an electronic medical record program rollout to 38 skilled nursing facilities in multiple states.  They will be involved in system implementation, user support, work-flow analysis, and gaining buy-in from end users while ensuring quality of care and enhanced patient safety within the organization. 

They will also be the primary trainer to train all facilities on the medical records system

 ROAD WARRIOR NEEDED   Extensive travel required.

This position can be located anywhere in the Central Valley or Bay Area

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a qualified licensed RN in good standing and currently licensed by the State in which employed.

Must have a minimum of two (2) years full-time experience as an RN in a clinical setting providing direct patient care.  Experience in an SNF or LTC facility preferred.

 Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in IT project management planning, implementing, and evaluating IT programs in the field of nursing, or must hold an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in IT. 

Additionally, must demonstrate aptitude for technology to provide oversight and education in an electronic medical records program roll out.
