CB&I is looking for a Senior Document Control Specialist for our Plainfield, Illinois facility. General Role Description •Responsible for the EDMS on large scale EPC projects •Coordinate and work closely with Engineering Management and Discipline leads to ensure the flow of documents to / from the engineering group is timely and accurate. •Coordinate with the Documentation for Operations (DFO) group so that end of project delivery of DFO meets all project requirements. •Coordinate with WINPCS group to provide all documents and document links required for that Project Completions Systems Database •Coordinate with Purchasing and VPRM vendor document management system •Coordinate with Project Engineering controls to ensure document status and progress measurement are accurate for project reports Responsibilities •Work with the project team as the lead technical document controls specialist on a large scale project •Assemble and make all document transmittals via PDOCS. Hardcopies if required. •Maintain a complete repository of all current project documents (hard copy and electronic.) •Maintain a complete archive of all project documents. •Ensure proper document distribution to all project participants as determined by overall project distribution matrix. •Provide Administrative support to Document Controls group. •Receive and post all electronic vendor documents in PDOCS •Manage and assign all document attributes as required to support DFO •Manage all document planned and actual submittal dates for each type of submittal •Ensure project all document numbering is in conformance with project specification requirements. Typical Tasks •Daily or weekly engineering document transmittals •Daily or weekly receipt and posting of submittals from client or vendors. •Participate in regular engineering staff meetings •Run documentation status reports •Scan, create, revise pdf files.
