Description Due to unprecendented growth, ASI Career Institute is seeking an additional Admissions Representative to join our sales team.  ASI Career Institute is committed to providing an outstanding experience for each student starting with our admissions and enrollment process.  This position is perfect for the sales professional who wants fulfillment and excellent job satisfaction and we strive to provide the best educational experience in the industry.

This integral person will have the responsibility for student outreach and recruitment, providing a one-on-one personal interview, provide a school tour and complete the enrollment process for selected students.  We are seeking a self motivated full time individual with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as the ability to follow up with potential students.

This person must be very comfortable fielding incoming phone calls and setting appointments, as well as extremely comfortable with making up to 100 outgoing phone calls daily.  The successful individual must be flexible with assignments and will represent the school at career fairs, shows and other outside events.  This will include some nights and weekends.  The school's hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 10:30pm.  You should be able to work any of these hours with a flexible schedule.
Requirements Successful candidate will have a proven inside/outside sales experience, ability to achieve enrollment goals, have outstanding communication and presentation skills and preferably should have some private school knowledge. Successful candidate should have ability to work under extreme pressure. This person should thrive on exceeding weekly/monthly/annual goals.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred; however we will consider candidates with an equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
  • Some sales experience is required.
  • Strong telephone skills.
  • Professional image and attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong goal oriented person.

Hours:
The successful person should be able to work between the school's hours of operation - 8:00am through 10:30pm Monday through Friday and some Saturdays.  There is some travel involved, Career Fairs, Open Houses, etc.  You should be able to work at least one late night until 10:30pm.  Successful candidate may have experience in Real Estate, Mortgages Sales, Car Sales, and/or Retail Sales.

 

Compensation:
Base salary, plus commission and performance bonuses.  Potential income is $50,000 or higher.  All salaried employees at ASI Career Institute have the opportunity to participate in the company's health benefits plan.
