Looking for candidates who have experience in medical scheduling and front office. Must possess excellent telephone skills, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, proven computer knowledge and the ability to handle multi tasks. Job duties include, but are not limited to, rotating between answering patient telephone calls in an inbound-call area, and checking patients in and out. Insurance knowledge is a plus. Major Job Responsibilities:
Arrive at report time, at desk ready to work with a positive attitude
SMILE, acknowledge and greet the patients.
Tag patients in, pull encounter form and handle all paperwork that requires updating and signature.
Must verify insurance cards & scan insurance cards, review collection note when insurance requires a referral/authorization and eligibility before the patient proceeds for their visit.
Document on the encounter form any change with insurance noting co-payor self-pay when required.
No shows must be called and the patient chart must be documented.
Scan patient registration and all other forms into SRS and enter patient registration into Medinformatix.
Greet and have visitors sign in, give visitors badge and notify appropriate person of their guest or sales representative.
Receive and sign for all packages and overnight deliveries, notifying the necessary person(s).

Major Responsibilities
SMILE, acknowledge and address the patiets.
Handle faxed messages from answering service in the am
Throughout the day handle messages on Patient Services voice mail.
Schedule future appointments and enter recalls
Collect fees for service and give a receipt to the patient.
Post credit card payments, matching the balances throughout the day.
Handle Optical cash transactions and at end of day deposit bag.
Handle outgoing calls and rescheduling patients.
Assist with incoming calls in Que.
FAX MACHINE/ Handle distribution of faxed copies to its appropriate place.
Handle courier bag.
Handle 5:30pm & Fri 4:00pm coverage as assigned, closing the office at days end.
Call Center / Triaging / Scheduling
Arrive 8:25 am logging in at assigned desk ready to work with a SMILE and a positive attitude.
Take incoming calls, triaging and scheduling patients.
Handle work-ins and add ons by printing Encounter Form, Exam Sheet, prepping through SRS and then placing prepared paperwork in the appropriate folder at Check-in.
Daily prepping of Encounter Forms for next day patient care.
Enter patient registration
Prepare New Patient packets for mailing
Typical Physical Demands:
Requires prolonged standing, walking, some bending, stooping and stretching. Also requires intense concentration and ability to be consistent with repeated set up of procedures. Requires excellent communication skills. Must be able to express a caring attitude while performing the tasks required with accuracy and efficiency. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to perform necessary tasks. Performance Expectations:
