Bookstore Salesperson

Matthews Medical Bookstores, an employee owned company, is currently seeking a self-motivated individual to focus on generating sales of medical books, uniforms and medical equipment for our Detroit Medical Center Bookstore operation.  This job may require the ability to drive a van type truck to location and conduct sales of medical equipment, medical books and uniforms.  Hours must be flexible to accommodate clientele.  Familiarity with the surrounding medical community would be a plus.  This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in building a career with Matthews.

The preferred candidate must be intelligent, high energy, outgoing and people oriented, capable of working independently in a team oriented environment.  Experience in a retail environment, uniform sales, marketing or outside sales is a plus.
