Color Station Representative Roosevelt Field Mall (304140-570)

**THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN GARDEN CITY, NY**

Benjamin Moore and Co is looking for highly motivated and energetic individual to represent color products through our newest initiative – The Benjamin Moore Color Station. The Color Station is a customer friendly and interactive mall kiosk offering our Premium Brand and it’s quality products in a whole new way.


Prospective candidates should demonstrate a passion and understanding of color, believe in the Benjamin Moore brand, and be able to motivate our customers to choose colors and provide the confidence to complete a project. They also need to be ambassadors of the brand – advocating the retailer channel and driving their customers into our retailers stores.

• Engage customers and promote the Benjamin Moore product offering.
• Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain color samples based on customer needs and desires.
• Answer questions regarding the Color Station and Benjamin Moore & Co.
• Ticket, arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
• Demonstrate use or operation of merchandise (ie. fan decks, PCV, Retail Locator etc).
• Clean shelves, counters, and tables.
• Exchange merchandise for customers and accept returns.
• Inventory stock and requisition new stock.
• Prepare merchandise for purchase
• Any other tasks required by management.

This is a part-time position providing 10-15 hours per week.  Candidate must be able to work the midday shift, nights and/or weekends. 


THIS POSITION IS IN Garden City, NY.

• Ability to operate Point of Sale/ Cash register software
• Ability to work directly with the public.
• Experience in a retail environment
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) programs
• Must be able to work nights/weekends required
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Art/Design background/Education desired
