he Radiology Manager performs those functions necessary for the imaging centers to produce quality diagnostic images and excellent patient satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine daily operations of the Radiology Department. This position is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the organization.

This includes a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of patient satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner. These include, but are not limited to the following: Utilization of staff and equipment resources; managing and building excellent relationships with patients, referring physicians and radiologists; & providing managerial support and assists in resolving multi-center service issues. Candidate must also present demonstrated ability to manage within a budget, understand financial statements, perform trend analysis and make recommendations. Strong project planning and implementation skills required. Excellent judgment, decision-making, delegating and communication skills. Must be able to work independently, set priorities and maintain complete confidentiality. Strong positive, interpersonal working skills, and strong proven motivational and leadership skills required. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, administrators, technologists, and support staff. Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulatory compliance are required.

Requirements The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration. Current licensure and ARRT registry. At least 5 years management experience. Related health care experience preferably in a large diagnostic imaging setting is desirable. Must possess ability to analyze and monitor system performance and make recommendations for improving on a proactive basis. Proven PACS and RIS experience required.
