Come work for Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Stores if you're a Manager who serves hot fresh food and delicious ice cream products to our guests; focused on speed of service;staffing the store with qualified employees,training and coaching to achieve goals;fully support the Store Manager in their absence; able to make decisions while growing business;Lead employees to maintain company objectives and schedules;open or close the store;assist in ordering,receiving,organizing product/supplies,maintain a proper level on display at all times;Work in a hands on environment with employees;maintain safe food handling practices in a clean environment for our customers and employees;supervise,motivate employees and abide by company policies and procedures;keep equipment operating;maintain a professional appearance and demeanor;accomplish goals while setting the highest of standards at all times.

Qualifications
•

Requirements Previous management experience in a quick serve restaurant environment, retail or grocery setting.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Ability to make effective decisions in absence of Store Manager.
• Experience with speed of service and expediting food orders. Committed to continuous improvement.
• Understanding and knowledge of retail products, and develops strategies to capitalize on sales/growth opportunities.
• Ability to educate employees and customers on new products.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings.
• Can ensure that the customer receives a superior product or service. Can listen attentively and respond effectively to customer complaints.
• Awareness of basic sanitation issues. Ability to engage in sanitary practices and maintain a clean food preparation environment.
• Effective managing in a changing environment. Skills include leadership, planning, developing policies, delegation, and tracking performance against measurable goals.
• Skilled at measuring retail costs of products, services, or other cost objectives.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
