Description

Ockham is a global provider of resources to the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industry. We work with companies involved with clinical trials and other market approval processes to help them deliver their products on time and on budget. One of our clients in Pleasanton, CA has an immediate need for a Statistical Programmer. This is a contract position.

Responsible for planning, writing and executing statistical programs designed to analyze data from the relational database.
Produces tables, listings and figures. Assesses data accuracy and consistency.
Acts as programmer on project team.
Consults in the design and development of clinical trials, protocols and case report forms.
Validates, documents and archives single-use programs.

Requirements

Must have extensive knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS macros, and SAS/GRAPH. BS and at least 4 years analyzing scientific data using SAS or MS and at least 3 years analyzing scientific data using SAS.
Pharmaceutical or Device experience preferred.
Familiarity with common statistical analyses and strong verbal and written communication skills
