Membership Sales Representative/Membership Director

We are a high end hospitality company seeking FULL TIME MEMBERSHIP SALES REPRESENTATIVES for our West Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and Orange County Club locations. An overview of the position is to professionally promote and sell memberships and consistently performs in accordance with the high 5 star standards as a top-of-category luxury brand, and work towards company goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:



TEAM MEMBER DEVELOPMENT
• Establish consistent accountable objectives as determined by supervisor, and meet them.
• Assist with special projects, events and promotions as needed.
• As appropriate, recognize personal limitations and ask for help.

COMMUNICATION
● Communicate in a consistent, effective and timely manner and have current, comprehensive information about Club operations and programs, as well as the Company and the industry.
● Help maintain excellent communication channels between Members, outside vendors and Team Members.
● Actively listen to Members and Team Members.

MEMBER SATISFACTION/SERVICE/HOSPITALITY
• Respond to Members’ concerns, suggestions, and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure the delivery of an exceptional experience to our Members on a consistent basis.
• Consistently offer the highest level of personalized Member hospitality and service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude.
• Actively greet a Member or group of Members each time they are encountered or passed in the Club. Smile, make eye contact, pause, and speak clearly in a friendly voice to verbally acknowledge them.
• Send thank you cards to New Members, then follow-up with phone contact.

OPERATIONS
● Meet production goals set forth by management.
● Conduct presentations and tours of the Club.
● Use The Sports Club Company selling methods to discover prospective Member’s fitness goals, their main motivations for joining and any possible objections.
• Respond to all information calls using company’s sales method to obtain phone numbers and schedule an appointment.
• Demonstrate awareness of all current offers.
• Continuously develop leads and solicit referrals.
• Turn overall corporate leads to the Corporate Membership Director.
• Distribute & post sales materials and information according to procedure.
• List all appointments in appropriate areas including Master Appointment Book.
• Generate required number of contacts to achieve Club sales goals.
• Maintain organized statistics on personal sales, information calls, and miscellaneous statistics on marketing or Club information.
• Maintain a production notebook and lead card file and keep both updated and organized.
• Ensure the Membership Application, Agreement, By-Laws, and Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire is complete and accurate.
• Tour and phone shop the competition as required.
● Identify, report, and correct all needed Department or Club repairs immediately.
● Maintain strong work habits.
● Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
● Maintain fitness example for Members and Team Members by exhibiting a commitment towards a healthy lifestyle.

FINANCIAL
● Demonstrate awareness of the importance of membership sales and Member retention.
● Do not maximize short-term profits at the expense of compromising The Company, the brand or our relationship with our Members.
• Embody a confident, energetic, and positive "do-what-it-takes" attitude to ensure the future growth and profitability of the Company.

Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND CORE COMPETENCIES
● High School diploma or equivalent required.
● Basic math skills.
