Chief  Building Engineer

National Real Estate firm has an immediate opening for a Chief Engineer in Arlington, Texas responsible for overall plant operation including maintaining and repairing MEP/HVAC equipment in a major client owned facility.

Requirements and Duties:

· 7-10 years Commercial office building experience including thorough operating knowledge of chillers, BAS, pneumatic/electrical controls, electrical/emergency systems, plumbing and general maintenance.

Data Center experience a plus.

· Demonstrated superior customer service skills including ability to effectively communicate.

· Must be able to supervise small staff, multi-task and manage workload.

· Assist in the implementation of an effective preventative maintenance program, completion of service requests, and other assigned duties to efficiently handle client business needs.

· Work closely with client to ensure issues related to operations are well planned, coordinated and meet or exceed industry standards.

· Report daily, weekly, or as needed to the Operations Manager on operational or client issues while working to ensure compliance with company and client standards.

Education/Experience

7+ years experience with facility/ building operation, CFC certification, Maintenance Electrician’s license or Data Center experience a plus. Must be able to operate a PC utilizing MS Office and CMMS software.
