Title: Sr. .Net Developer
Location: Saint Louis, MO 63101
Description:
· Applicant will be a member of the Brokerage Information Technology staff supporting Wells Fargo Advisors businesses.
· Full system lifecycle required including development, test, and implementation of highly robust and reliable solutions.
· This position will also include working in collaboration with developers in other groups to ensure that the applications adhere to corporate standards and technologies and to ensure interface requirements are satisfied.
· The candidate will be expected to follow standard development methodologies and practices.
· Responsibilities will include: Analysis, design, architecture, development, defect remediation, and implementation of Brokerage initiatives using C# and ASP.NET.
Requirements
Required Skill set:
· Candidate must possess and demonstrate: Good oral and written English communication skills, A team player attitude and must demonstrate an understanding of development principles and practices.
· 8+ years overall IT experience including database development, architecture and design, and distributed applications development.
· Candidates possessing the following are preferred: Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Microsoft development technologies with 3+ years experience using C# / .NET. C++ background preferred, although VB and Java background will also be considered.
· ASP.NET/C# and an understanding of HTTP, HTML, JavaScript are required. Component & Object Oriented Development and an ability to understand and write UML models is preferred.
· Candidate must be able to contribute in all layers of technical design, development, testing and implementation.
· Experience with IBM MQ Series and WebSphere Workflow and/or Actuate report development is a plus.
· Education: Bachelors degree or 8+ years of related IT experience required, Graduate level degree in technical field preferred.
Business Knowledge Needed:
· Brokerage or financial business knowledge along with associated technologies; 2+ year Brokerage industry experience preferred.
