Legals Clerk
The Advertising
Department has an opening for a full time Legal Clerk.
The successful candidate will be responsible for
typing from copy and per verbal
instructions legal advertisements to be placed within The News-Star;
pulling legal ads, preparing affidavit forms with notarized signature, and mailing to
appropriate entity; backing up ACD calls whenever necessary at direction of supervisor; cross training in obit position; sharing weekend and holiday obit duty, and other
duties as assigned. Must have High School diploma or
equivalent; good communication,
typing, and spelling skills; excellent customer service skills; and
the ability to work with legal community and public entities.
