Great opportunity for a Chemical Engineer or Bioprocess Engineer with fuel ethanol fermentation process design experience. Company is a global leader in the chemical industry and is entering the fuel ethanol industry with exciting, new, economic, green technologies. Note: This position is not in St. Louis, MO and will require relocation to a Southern location. Location will be divulged to qualified candidates.

The Fermentation Process Engineer will work with a team of engineers developing the process design for the anaerobic fermentation of synthesis gas to ethanol, designing and/or selecting capital equipment, supporting the final design/build work and subsequently supporting operations through process improvement and debottlenecking.

Requirements Must Have: BS degree in Chemical or Bioprocess Engineering and 4-8 years total process engineering experience including 4-5 years' fermentation process design experience including fermentation capital equipment selection or design experience. Experience with a major fuel ethanol engineering firm or major fuel ethanol producer is much preferred. Minimum travel. Must be willing to relocate.
