We currently have a career opportunity available for an experienced Event/Walk Manager to complement our dynamic Walk team. The Event/Walk Manager will work from a home-based office in Rhode Island, New Hampshire or Southern Massachusetts. Event/Walk Manager - Rhode Island/New Hampshire (Southern & Northern New England) The selected individual will raise money for Autism Speaks by organizing volunteers, creating awareness and implementing Walk fundraising events in Southern and Northern New England. Event/Walk Manager responsibilities include:
•Flexibility to work nights and weekends pre-and-post Walk season
The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, as well as a minimum of two to four years' experience in fundraising, development and special events. Experience conducting fundraising events and a background in recruiting and working with volunteers is required. The Event/Walk Manager will possess excellent communication, presentation and administrative skills, and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint. Kintera or Raiser's Edge database skills are preferred.
