Within the Quality department at the hydrolysate plant of the nutritional division Domo/DMV International we are searching for a:

 

Analytical Chemist who is able to:

 

  • Analytical testing and recording
  • Record keeping and report writing

  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment

  • Inventory maintenance

  • MSDS file upkeep

  • Coordinate outside testing

  • Interact with R&D Team and production 

  • Assists with Chemical Inventory

  • Performs routine preventative maintenance on balances and incubators

  • Participates in GMP audits

Requirements
  • B.S. degree in chemistry or related field with course work in computers, analytical equipment operation and data reporting.
  • Recent experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory, preferably with Quality Control experience.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Ability to multi-task, change priorities, produce quality work, produce accurate results, perform steadily, pay attention to details and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of theory behind DMV International’s methods of analysis and ability to perform them.
  • Ability to carry out detailed written and verbal instructions independently.
  • Skilled with computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to perform light physical work, exerting up to 30 pounds of force on a frequent basis and up to 50 pounds of force on an occasional basis, performing such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, and repetitive tasks.
