Description
The
Lifeguard for Bally Total Fitness will monitor activities in the swimming areas to ensure optimum safety and provide assistance to our swimmers. Additionally, the
Lifeguard will be responsible for providing a sanitary and positive pool experience.
Lifeguards will be responsible for:
- Proper maintenance of the pool and surrounding wet areas
- Maintaining proper chemical levels
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of members and guests by overseeing pool activity and enforcing all rules and regulations of the club
- Following all guidelines in case of an emergency – administering appropriate First Aid and obtaining immediate medical assistance
Requirements
- Candidates must be at least 18 years or older to apply
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified in CPR / AED and First Aid
- Valid lifeguard certification
- OSHA trained in handling hazardous chemicals
- Ability to wear respiratory safety devices when handling hazardous chemicals
