Chesterbrook Academy seeks dedicated, experienced teachers for the following classrooms:

LEAD BEGINNER TEACHER

INFANT CO-TEACHER

Teachers are responsible for implementing the educational curriculum in their classroom, maintaining compliance with school programs, and communicating closely with parents. Ideal candidates will be knowledgable of licensing regulations, be able to keep classroom neat, organized and follow proper sanitation procedures. Teachers are responsible for promoting children's self esteem as well as acting as role models for the children. We rely on a strong sense of teamwork among staff and to collaborate on issues as well as work together on school goals.

    • Requirements
    • At least two year's experience working in a preschool
    • Two year ECE Degree preferred
    • Must be flexible and have a good sense of teamwork
    • Passion for education
    • Knowledgable of developmentally appropriate practices
    • Strong communication and organizational skills, both oral and written
    • Must have previous teaching or child care experience with young children
