We need Outside Sales Representatives with 2 to 5 years Sales Experience with a proven track record!!



JOB TITLE: Business Development Executive

 

DEPARTMENT: Sales

 

REPORTS TO: President

 Role Objectives:

Prospecting Requirements

  • Responsible for prospecting by making 30 – 50  calls per day via phone
  • Responsible for prospecting by making 25 additional touches per day via email, or direct mail
  • Responsible for successfully completing 5 – 10 appointments per week
  • Responsible for quote creation and presentation

 Outside Sales:

  • Must be able to close.
  • Responsible for hitting Monthly and Quarterly Revenue Goals 
  • Responsible for presenting proposals to C-Level management
  • Responsible for understanding and communicating company philosophy and value proposition.
  • Demonstrate Knowledge in Company Service and Technology Solutions
  • Assist with Network Assessments for Accounts

 

 

Internal Systems:

  • Must have excellent written communication skills
  • Must update internal systems to document prospecting activities and appointments
  • Must be able to track time effectively and document in internal systems
  • Implement and follow all Company procedures for successful conflict resolution

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in community networking events (Chamber, Rotary, Etc.)
  • Meet continuing education requirements (60 hours per year)
  • Keep current on Industry news through research, newsletters, events

  • Planning: Must be able rapidly develop plans to meet highly complex and rapidly changing goals.

  • Communication/Informing: Clear, concise, and eloquent presentation of information.
  • Client Focus: Dedicated to meeting client expectations; able to develop and maintain relationships with clients; resolve client conflicts
  • Initiative/Action Oriented: Self-motivated; takes action to achieve goals beyond expectations with minimal supervision.

 

 Major Processes:

  • Review Network Assessments with Client
  • Review Network Remediation Plans with Client
  • Develop Sales Solutions to technical problems
  • Assist with Company On Boarding Process
  • Emergency Response/Conflict Management
  • Help Develop Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity plans
  • Effectively communicate company message

 

Salary is heavily commission based and in the range of $65K to $250K depending on skill and experience.

Requirements

 

  • 2 to 5 years Sales Experience with a proven track record
  • Bachelors Degree is preferred
  • Must be a self-starter and a team player
  • Must have prior experience in the technology industry selling projects and services
  • Must have experience selling at the C-level for companies with 10-250 employees, where your price was higher than your competitors
  • You must be good at prospecting and closing
  • You must have made at least 65k per year in the past
  • Great Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients
  • Must have great writing skills
  • Superior organization skills
  • Computer proficiency
