Sales Executive - Real-Time Data

 

My client's Real-Time Data business unit is looking for a driven and skilled Sales Executive. The purpose of the role is to plan and implement sales activities in order to meet team targets for new sales, revenue retention and growth within the existing client base. Real-Time Data provides a broad range of real-time, delayed, and historical data feeds that deliver value-added market data in a format and time interval that meet client’s needs. This position is based in the New York office.

 

The Sales Executive will be responsible for planning, generating, implementing sales strategies and business plans along providing excellent customer retention and development initiatives within specified territory. They must maintain administration and relevant reporting and planning systems, including forecasting. Sales executives must know when to involve senior management in the sales process where appropriate. They will be responsible for supplying feedback on market and competitor activities. They will also supply product enhancement recommendations obtained direct from customers or derived from their comments.

Requirements

Suitable candidates will have previous experience as a sales executive in a financial service market place and a proven track record of achieving personal sales targets.  Candidates must be highly motivated and results driven with the ability to take ownership and work under their own initiative. They must have a thorough understanding of sales processes and strategies to achieve results. Candidates must be credible and confident negotiating at the senior executive level. Candidates must be fully PC literate and familiarity with the use of tools such as CRM systems. You must have an in-depth understanding of the financial markets. All candidates must have a bachelor’s degree. Experience with Market Data services or Financial Technology solutions are a plus.
