Description Hanover Township seeks a Mechanic to help maintain, diagnose, and repair the Township’s vehicle fleet. Candidates should have knowledge of auto electrical systems, steering and suspension, as well as welding, fabrication and light auto body work. Candidates should have the ability to diagnose and repair auto climate control and ABS systems. Candidates should have advanced skills related to auto repairs in diesel and small engines. High school degree is required, additional auto mechanic certifications is preferred. Candidates should have ten years of related experience. Special requirements – candidates must own and utilize on site, up to date set of mechanic tools, have a commercial driver’s license, class B is required and ASE certifications are required.
