System Developer Trainee, Assistant Systems Developer, Developer I
The Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking individuals for development and production support of web applications and maintaining our Judicial Branch forms. This position requires a person with excellent team project skills and technical ability. Desired skills include Adobe Acrobat Standard/Professional; Microsoft Frontpage; HTML; ASP; Visual Basic and Visual Studio (ASP) .NET. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of technical and non-technical staff are required. Experience with Photoshop is considered a plus.

Requirements
Minimum qualifications for this position include knowledge of the functioning and use of computers; knowledge of major concepts and terms used in the computer profession, knowledge of the structure of programming languages, programming and testing techniques, data representation and debugging, PC hardware and software skills, interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills for the Trainee position; one year of experience in computer programming for the Assistant Systems Developer level and three years of experience in computer programming for the Developer I level.
Substitutions Allowed for the Developer I level: A Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or a related field and one year of experience at or above the level of Systems Developer Trainee may be substituted for the General Experience.
