Description Commercial Construction Project Engineer needed for our Columbia, MD office.

ISEC is currently seeking a Project Engineer to work for our Mid-Atlantic Region in our Columbia, MD office.

We are your single source interior trades contractor, with full-service capabilities to manage every phase, from design, engineering, estimating, purchasing and manufacturing to contract administration and installation.

Door, Frames and Hardware

Building Specialties.

This diverse capability allows us to participate in a variety of complex commercial trade packages.

The Project Engineer (PE) is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with administrative duties. As entry level PE, he/she will provide support associated with the commercial projects, material releases, vendor follow-up, coding invoices for A/P, routine correspondence, field dimensioning, change orders, submittals and labor and delivery schedules.

Requirements

Ideal candidate is very detailed, organized, able to manage time and priorities to assist with multiple commercial construction projects and comfortable with a fast paced schedule.

Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a professional environment, working both with internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate would also have the experience of working with a General Contractor.

Preferred Qualifications (In addition to minimum qualifications)

Education/Experience
Two-year college degree or equivalent experience in the contruction field.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Detail oriented
Strong organization, communication, and analytical skills
Strong computer knowledge and skills
Comfortable with a fast paced schedule

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience
1 -2 years of relevant construction industry experience.
