Description Responsible to interact with Engineering, Production,Maintenance and Laboratory Associates to maintain plant reliability.
Responsible for proper repair and installation of all equipment
Responsible for reporting incidents to supervision
Responsible for maintaining and documenting their PPE
Responsible for doing two job observations a month
Responsible for attending the monthly safety meeting
Responsible for proper calibration of all Instrumentation and Electrical equipment – I&E
Accountable for the safety of themselves and coworkers in the locking-out of electrical equipment and line entry process
Responsible for the care and proper use of all test equipment
Responsible for the housekeeping of the shop and the housekeeping at the completion of any job
Responsible for reviewing plant maintenance procedures / Work instruction on a yearly basis
Responsible for care and maintenance of all plant tools and equipment
Responsible for following maintenance schedules
Requirements Minimum of 5 years of applicable industry experience with 3 years in a heavy industrial environment.Journeyman skills or equivalent.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to read, write and understand English
Knowledge in blueprint reading
Crafts: able to pass written, fit up and 6G welding test
Machinist: Knowledge of repairing and installation of rotating equipment, including knowledge of machine alignment using dial indicators and laser techniques
Electrician: Knowledge of electrical control system troubleshooting, electrical construction and use of electrical testing and analytical equipment, knowledge of 4160 V and 13.8 kV circuitry
Instrument Technician: knowledge of repairs and installation and calibration of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation, including troubleshooting and tuning
