Telecom Technician - CDMA iDEN

We have following opportunity currently available for you.

Position            : Telecom Technician
Locations         : St. Cloud, MN
Duration           : 6 Months Contract

Duties:

• Receive, analyze, monitor, and resolve network problems in a timely manner with minimal guidance from higher level technicians or engineers.
• Must possess technical knowledge and proficiency in Telecom and switching operations, including a working knowledge of Digital cross connect systems and transport technologies
• Serve as a skilled liason between local market teams and national support groups
• Work with telco providers to turnup and repair trunk circuits and other telco circuits from DS0 to OC48

Skills:

• Technical knowledge and proficiency in Telecom and switching operations.
• CDMA, IDEN, long distance and data switching platforms. Knowledge of SMS, SS7, transport and other signaling techniques.
• Knowledge of DACS, network test equipment and AC/DC power plants is a must.

Education:

Minimum of 2 year associate degree in electronics and or telephony or equivalent experience.
