Job Description:

• Will provide personal and professional blood donor collection, medical screening, phlebotomy and blood processing at Ft Leonard Wood or at a mobile site as needed.
• Ft Leonard Wood Blood Donor Center will provide personal and professional blood donor collection, medical screening, phlebotomy and blood processing at Ft Leonard Wood or at a mobile site as needed.

Requirements of Medical Technologist(Q/A):

• Must have extensive knowledge of scientific principles, concepts and methodologies of medical laboratory technology sufficient to supervise perform and monitor a broad range highly specialized procedures in the Blood Donor Center.
• Must have knowledge of medico-legal and multiple accrediting agencies; CAP, AABB, FDA etc. Also must posses analytical knowledge to troubleshoot complex procedures, processes and equipment.
• Shall be a graduate of a 4 year program in medical laboratory technology with a degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science or in the chemical, physical or biological sciences.
• Must have extensive knowledge of scientific principles, concepts and methodologies of medical laboratory technology sufficient to write SOP's, maintain and manage a QA/I program, perform and monitor a broad range highly specialized procedures in the Blood Donor Center.
• Must have knowledge of medico-legal and multiple accrediting agencies; CAP, AABB, FDA etc. Also must posses analytical knowledge to troubleshoot complex procedures, processes and equipment.
• Shall be a graduate of a 4 year program in medical laboratory technology with a degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science or in the chemical, physical or biological sciences.

Possess a Medical Technologist registry issued by the ASCP or AMT.

• Compensation: F/T 13.33-$30 DOE w/health benefits, vacation, holidays O/T @ 1.5
