Description
The Landscape Account Manager/Business Developer position is an exciting new opportunity with an established southwest Florida company. Candidate will be responsible for commercial and residential account development. Position will develop sales channels including commercial accounts, contractors, architectural firms and residential services. The candidate will be responsible for communication with various prospects making them aware of products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for development of commercial and residential landscape sales in Sarasota County
- Research and pursue contacts to promote new opportunities for product exposure
- Soliciting new accounts through commercial and residential associations
- Develop and present materials to various audiences
- Develop work portfolio-growing/developing new work with landscape and maintenance customers
- Enhancement Sales- up selling of services to customers to add value to their properties while increasing job scope
- Relationship Management: develop, maintain and grow professional relationships throughout the community
Requirements
5 plus years of landscape sales experience
Must have established contacts for the construction industry in Sarasota County
College degree in a horticultural field preferred
Strong work ethic and oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and handle all customers issues in a fast paced environment
