Civilian Supervisory Occupational Medicine position is immediately available. Plans and executes the Occupational Medicine Program. This includes responsibility for the development of comprehensive protocols and activities to encourage employees to maintain personal health and programs and activities relating to the control of occupational health hazards. Plans, organizes, establishes, and directs the goals and objectives of the Occupational Health Program, which includes preventive health education programs and counseling, hearing conservation, occupational vision, medical explosive certification, radiation health medical surveillance, asbestos medical surveillance, treatment of on the job illnesses and injuries and emergency medical care for work related injuries. Additionally, serves as the Subject Matter Expert in Occupational Medicine for the Naval Hospital Pensacola and its twelve Branch Health Clinics throughout five states.

Requirements
  • MD/DO
  • Active Physician license from any U. S. state.
  •  Completion of residency training in one of the following: Occupational Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • At least one year of appropriate graduate training or experience in occupational Health programs equivalent to at least to the next lower band level in terms of complexity and responsibility is required.
  • U. S. citizenship is required.
  • BE/BC is desired but not required.
