The multi-office, multi-state law firm of Bryant Miller Olive is currently seeking a highly professional LEGAL ASSISTANT to support the Local Government and Governmental Consulting attorneys in our Tampa office.  Responsibilities include preparing a variety of administrative, transactional and litigation legal documents; maintaining files for legal documents and local government records, enactments and agendas; coordinating with local government counterparts regarding legal needs, calendars and requirements; conducting legal research and preparing briefs; assisting in the preparation for trials and appeals; calendaring deadlines and scheduling hearings for litigation and local government meetings; administrative support including time entry, billing support, travel arrangements, assisting in answering phones and other related duties.       
 

 

 

 



 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and two years of litigation experience; knowledge of local government procedures and requirements preferred; exceptional organizational and analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and document management software.
