A leading food manufacturer seeks an experienced R&D Scientist to ensure the continued growth of their Chicago facilities.
Located in the northwest metro area.....In this role you will be responsible for working directly with potential and existing clients to develop custom formulations for products. Prior experience with bread / dough products is essential.
** Only candidates with at least a minimum of 5 years food manufacturing experience will be considered **
Requirements
- 5+ years food R&D development/commercialization
- BS Food Science or related degree
- Prior experience with bread / dough formulation required
- Prior experience with frozen products is ideal
- Prior B2B / co-manufacturing experience is ideal
- Strong customer / communications skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong innovation capability – lab & pilot plant
