Our direct Client in St. Petersburg has asked us to find them a SQL DBA/Developer for a full time opportunity.

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for Microsoft (MS) SQL Server database availability, performance, integrity, and security; ETL design, development, support, and data quality analysis; and technical administrative support of the Business Objects Enterprise (BOE) environment.
 
 
 
We can not use H1 candidates or candidates through a 3rd party vendor.
Requirements
Technical Skills Required
·         3+ years of proven MS SQL administration experience (2K/2K5) including the Database Engine and Integration Services
·         Practical experience in managing internal and external MS SQL database security
·         Practical experience performing backup, restore, and database recovery operations
·         Proficient in writing and optimizing T-SQL code, Stored Procedures, and DTS/SSIS packages
·         Solid data loading, ETL, and data quality experiences
 
Bonus Technical Skills
·         Experience with Business Objects Enterprise Administration a big plus
·         Experience with MS SQL 2K8 and Analysis Services a plus
·         Practical experience in analyzing query plans

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with changing priorities
·         Excellent written and oral communication skills
·         Well-organized, self-starter, and self-sufficient
·         Detail-oriented and clearly documents all technical designs and procedures
·         Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask but understands when to seek out help from managers or subject matter experts
·         Performs as a team player
 
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree or related work experience considered
MCDBA or MCITP: Database Administrator a plus
