I have Business Analyst II position with Verisign, a large security company located in Dulles, VA.  This is a contract to hire opportunity.  We are a tier 1 primary staffing partner for Verisign with many contractors currently working onsite there.  If you are interested in the position below please respond with the following info so we can work on setting up up with an interview.

Job Title Description:

 

This is a 6 months contract to hire position!  Candidate must be able to interview in person after phone screen.

This position provides front line support of existing Financial Business Intelligence reporting systems. The BSA II supports the OCFO Organization and key business partners. Troubleshooting end user queries is a primary function of the BSA II. The BSA II partners with MIS to deliver system enhancements. Additionally the BSA II is responsible for project management of financial system enhancement efforts related to various projects assigned to the Financial Systems team. This involves the requirements gathering, project management, training and deployment of financial systems and tools. The project management includes the ability to analyze, identify GAPs, document, train, understand financial systems requirements and deploy them successfully within VeriSign’s financial systems applications, reporting tools and interface systems and processes. This position will also participate in other support and development efforts for process improvements and future enhancements, related to our financial system applications and reporting tools. This position is expected to accurately and consistently anticipate business needs (solutions, benchmarks, examples, best practices and out of the box thinking) and effectively contribute this thinking to the business partners. Assist with the development of reports for financial analysis, trending and results analysis related to revenue and expenses using Hyperion Interactive Reporting, Hyperion Reports, Hyperion Analyzer and the Oracle financial applications.           

 

Requirements

Company Benefits Information:

·          Minimum 5-6 years hands-on experience with financial reporting systems, implementations, preferably in a high tech environment, including 4-5 years experience documenting and analyzing business processes and developing functional application requirements

·          Minimum of 3 years experience in Accounting and/or support of Accounting and Finance functions.

·          Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field.

·          Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Interactive Reporting, Hyperion Financial Reports, Hyperion Planning experience a must.

·          Experience / Knowledge of Oracle 11i Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivables, and OBIEE highly desired.

·          Understanding of other non-Oracle financial products. Understanding of accounting and finance functions, SOX controls, and audits, and best practice business processes.

·          Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with credibility at all levels of the organization.

·          Responsive to customer needs and highly motivated to improve the skills and capabilities of his/her organization.

  • A team player outlook with the ability to work well with peers. Superior prioritization, communication and multi-tasking skills a must.
