Construction Estimator

Robey, Inc. has an immediate need for an Estimator. This position will be located at our Westminster, MD Office.

Responsibilities:

• The Estimator is an integral part of the construction process in producing accurate estimates, which ensures Robey’s competitiveness, profitability, and growth.
• Responsible for working with sub-contractors and suppliers during the bid process in order to obtain complete bid package information.
• Review proposal specifications, drawings and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Insure all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience as construction estimator.

• Degree in related field desirable but not necessary.

• Familiar with both commercial and industrial large volume projects.

• Design/assist experience is very desirable.

• Must have ability to work fluently with MasterBuilder estimating software.

• Able to understand architectural, structural, mechanical and related drawings.

• Ability to work on and complete an estimate without guidance.

• Excellent general computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
