TITLE: CFO
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
DCT, Inc. is a 75 million dollar manufacturer of specialty chemicals to the Auto, Steel, Food & Beverage industries. DCT, Inc. has been in business since 1971 and has approximately 240 employees. DCT, Inc. also has an office supply distribution business.
To lead, guide and manage the Accounting & IT Departments with the primary positions of Controller, IT Manager, Accounts Payable Manager and Accounts Receivable Manager reporting to the CFO. The CFO will be the primary person interacting and managing the relationship with the Bank.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accounts are reconciled to the general ledger on a monthly basis: Banks, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, line of credit, and intercompany loans.
- Implement controls to ensure purchasing, sales, and accounting are all aware of and implementing when necessary pricing and price changes.
- Implement controls for inventory management.
- Direct and manage to IT department based on the IT needs of each Business Unit.
- Help secure financing loans/funds for projects that require capital investment
- Cost justify and help estimate capital projects
- Hold monthly meetings with COO, Sales VP & key managers of Business Units to review Business Unit’s & Corporations financial status
Other duties and responsibilities include:
Acquisitions and/or sale of Company business unit (s)

Monthly Inventory Counts
Full understanding of Journal Entries
Communicating with Bank
Forecasting
Adhering to Schedules
** This position will be much more involved with strategic planning and securing investment dollars than with the daily number crunching.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Master’s Degree-MBA Finance preferred
CPA-preferred
10 years experience as accountant at upper management level
Experience managing an IT department and/or direct IT working/educational background
Multi-state and/or international financial / tax experience is a +
Ability to think analytically
Ability to deal with a multitude of personalities/cultures
Strong computer skills
Ethics

Salary & Benefits:
150K to 175K annual base salary
