Position Overview

The CT Systems Specialist will serve as technical point person for system and board level repair of GE CT scanners and sub assemblies.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Strong technical background in GE CT Light Speed family product line, operating platform, system architecture and high voltage circuitry.
  • Ability to provide customer technical support by telephone.
  • Maintain records and documentation for all machines, and generate status reports as required.
  • Utilize software and hardware network management tools for problem isolation and resolution.
  • Work standard business hours 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Perform limited emergency telephone support during off-hours.
  • Establish effective levels of communication with customers including; system diagnostics, part identification, service advice.
  • Assist with the coordination and escalation of parts repair necessary to meet customer demands.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.

  • Minimal 3 years experience in CT maintenance.

  • Extensive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) training.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of reading and analyzing schematic diagrams, including digital analog circuitry, high voltage, troubleshooting software.

  • Proficient in windows PC operating and repair systems.
