Description RNP/APN needed to replace practitioner who is leaving the area. Job will be rounding at several local nursing homes seeing therapy and long term care patients. Hours are flexible. You will round with the physician one day a week. Your other time will be doing patient assessments, reviewing care plans, writing orders, performing H&P's, and preparing rounds reports for the physician. You should have strong assessment skills and be able to communicate well with the patients and their families. A knowledge of geriatric medications and treatments is important but can be learned on the job during rounds with the physician.

Requirements RNP or APN, perscriptive authority perferred but not required, ability to contract with medicare and medicaid.
