Pharmaceutical, Bio Tech Piping Superintendent / Foreman

We are actively seeking "high purity" Pipefittiers and Orbital Welders at the Foreman and Superintendent level for immediate and upcoming projects.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

• Ensure client satisfaction and quality consistent with RK Mechanical. Inc. standards
• Provide comprehensive onsite practical and technical direction pertaining to contract scope of work
• Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and supervision of all onsite crew activities
• Supervise and coordinate all on site field operations of RK Mechanical, Inc and associated sub-contractors
• Adhere to project schedule and orchestrate timely project completion within budgeted costs
• Cooperate with project management and maintain open lines of communication regarding matters concerning project budget, productivity, change orders, and customer satisfaction
• Meet or exceed all requirements of ‘RK Advancement Criteria’ for this position
• Journeyman license in respective trade
• Combination of 7 years trade related technical training and/or field experience
• Previous successful supervisory experience on small to medium mechanical contracts
• Basic knowledge of construction technology, methods, tools, equipment, and procedures
• Basic understanding of construction scheduling and cost control
• Proficient people skills for management of small to medium  crews of construction workers

Expertise in the following:

• Orbital welding

• Machine calibrations

• Tube cutting
• Tube facing - square
• Purging operations
• GMP Facilities Experience

• Customer satisfaction and public relations liaison
• Work within the perimeters of the project budget
• Ensure quality workmanship on all mechanical system installations
• Company safety policy enforcement
• Company policy and procedure compliance
• Develop ‘Master Plan’ approach for project
• Execute and supervise CPMI (CAD, Planning, Manufacturing, Installation)
• Schedule all daily and weekly scope of work activities
• Material, tool, and equipment requisitions
• Maintain workforce quality
• Maintain proper journeyman to apprentice ratio
• Code compliance
• Conflict resolution
• Accurate and thorough project documentation/daily logs
•  Weekly completion of meaningful  SIP (3 week short interval plan)         Read and understand the ‘Contract’                    
         
• Read and understand the ‘Scope of Work’

  • Read and understand the ‘Specifications’

  •  Maintain current ‘As-Built Drawings’

  • Maintain current addendum updates
