Description

The Mergis Group needs a Biologist with entomology experience to fill a 1 year contract position with our client, an International Agricultural company, in St. Louis, MO

Requirements

A BS/MS biologist is needed with strong technical skills that can assist in conducting insect bioassays.

The responsibilities for this role primarily include but are not limited to:
(1) rearing and maintaining insect colonies for insect bioassays
(2) performing insect bioassays to support laboratory and field studies
(3) conducting bioassays to support characterization and certification of insecticidal protein standards
(4) performing data entry, preliminary data analysis, and summary writing.

Candidates with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) experience are desirable.

Required experience:
Bio Assays = 1+ yrs
Entomology = 1+ yrs
Good Lab Practices (GLP) = 1+yrs
Quality Assurance = 1+ yrs

Full-time, 40 hrs/week
