We are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager Now!
You can live anywhere as long as you are willing to travel.
We are one of the largest privately held iutility contracting firms, with several office in many cities with a reputation as one of the most reliable and innovative firms in engineering and construction, is currently seeking a Project Manager.
The Project Manager provides management for multiple large utility construction projects with emphasis on powerline construction throughout the US and is accountable for the project's success. Additionally, this project manager provides support to other project teams in the planning and execution of the project including resolving issues, training, mentoring and coaching.
Major Job Elements:
• Manages overall project performance (scope, safety, quality, schedule, innovation, cost, and customer satisfaction).
• Serves as single-point of contact, establishing, maintaining and managing customer and joint venture expectations regarding the project performance.
• Reports project status and performance data as required to management and stakeholders.
• Ensures compliance
• Plans, monitors, and controls the project throughout its lifecycle.
• Running a major project from $50 to $100 million or several smaller ones.
Requirements
• BS degree preferred. Preferred in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
** MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSMISSION LINES
• Project Management Experience required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, formal Project Management coursework, or advanced knowledge and experience in Industry PM Methods required.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Experience / knowledge of operations, construction, design, finance and management required and able to work with minimum supervision required.
• Thorough understanding of utility industry practices, operations, contract administration, contract management, processes, and standards, with emphasis on power business required. Experience in the High Voltage Transissioin Lines
• Proficient understanding of CPM scheduling and software applications (Primavera, MS Project) is required.
• Travel will be required.
• Must be willing to commit to long-term out-of-state projects
