Role: Java Tech Lead / Developer
Duration: 18 months

Location: Charlotte, NC

Role Description:

Perform design and development for modifications to core java services.
Write Technical Specifications
Produce code
successfully unit testing code
Resolve defects

Required Skill set:

5+ years of application development experience, including complex, n-tier systems
2 years of Application architect experience
Hands-on programming experience in full life-cycle projects using Java technologies and databases like Oracle-10g.
3 years experience working with Oracle databases and coding SQL statements
Experience with application authentication and LDAP and SAML
Experience in distributed systems architecture, and SOA
Strong familiarity and hands-on experience with OO concepts and design
Working knowledge of UML
Ability to understand moderately complex functional requirements and translate into technical requirements
Aptitude to troubleshoot
Readiness for production support
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Independent and self-starter
Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Must have leadership experience as this role will guide other developers

Requirements Java Programming experience.
Application Authentication Experience (LDAP and SAML).
Oracle 10g Database.
Object Oriented Concept and Design (OO).
SOA - Systems Architecture.
