 Production Supervisor

Responsibilities for Production Supervisor:

Manufacturer of surgical products is currently seeking a Production Supervisor.
 

• Provide leadership for 25 to 30 production employees to deliver defect-free product and meet all productivity, delivery, and safety standards

• Monitor the quality of the product being produced to ensure all proper workmanship standards are met and continuously strive to make improvements
• Continuously improve processes to achieve product quality, production efficiency and process repeatability to ensure all standards are met
• Participate and drive cost reduction initiatives, including Design For Manufacturability (DFM)  
• Foster a safe, professional and team-oriented environment
• Maintain work force with good attendance, flexibility in job assignment and adaptability to changing business needs  
• Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures
• Ensure employees are trained in primary responsibilities and cross-trained  
• Provide direction, daily work assignments, and ongoing training to support daily production as needed
• Recommend and implement the appropriate corrective action to quality and production problems
• Support Visual Control and Visual Workplace concepts
• Ensure compliance with established and approved policies and procedures, and FDA, cGMP, and QSR/ISO regulations
• Provide leadership for employees through effective communication, coaching, and training and development
• Hire and train employees, administer performance reviews, and discipline employees as needed
• Key Operations include plastic injection and silicone molding, mechanical assembly, bonding, final packaging, clean room kitting, and pouch and tray sealing
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

Production Supervisor

Candidate should have:
'

• Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.

• Detail oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated
• Five or more years of supervisory experience and 15 years+ in an ISO, Clean Room, and Medical Device Manufacturing environment.
• Production and Quality metrics experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills with the ability to maintain a culture of continuous improvement
• Basic computer skills (MRP, MS Word, and Excel)
