Description
Production Manager needed for a food manufacturing facility.
BAKERY EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!! The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of "artisan" breads.
The Production Manager will spend the majority of his/her time on the production floor coaching the associates and supervisors to ensure consistency in production, following proper formulas, safety standards, and other company policies & programs.
Production Expert:

Embodies passion and commitment to creating the best quality products for our cafes in an efficient manner. Has real time responsibility for teaching and enforcing the standards for production.

Works closely with the Manager to provide a consistent and honest message to the associates through daily guidance and motivation.

Observes day-to-day processes and procedures to ensure accurate reporting of key financials and proper asset utilization.

Always on the look out for new ways to keep the production moving forward effectively, and willing to change and adapt to deliver high quality product to our customers.

Requirements
BAKERY EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!!!
- Must be flexible, able to hold others accountable, positive person with lots of drive and energy. Outgoing personality without being over the top. Work well with diverse group of individuals.
- Previous Equipment Experience
- MUST be experienced in Bread Dough manufacturing equipment – Not just in-store bakery or small Mom & Pop bakery
- Experience supervising a team of production associates and supervisors for 3-5 years
- MUST be knowledgeable in Food Sanitation and Safety practices and has taught others.
- MUST be able to teach and demonstrate knowledge in process controls in a food-manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of bread production processes in a fairly hands on environment
Computer Skill Level: some Windows/Outlook, and Experienced in Windows/Outlook
Experience with Excel will be very helpful
