Description
We are currently searching for an experienced, customer focused, results driven individual to provide benefit communication services to our client in Irving, Texas.
The BCS works full-time on location with our client to effectively communicate insurance benefit options to employees. The BCS will ensure that each employee develops a good understanding of their benefit options including voluntary insurance options, such as life, disability, accident and/or critical illness insurance. The BCS will follow through with processing benefit enrollments and responding to employee questions.
Although this is not considered a “sales" position, enrolling employees into voluntary insurance products is an essential function of this position. The successful candidate will be very comfortable with this aspect of the position.
In addition to excellent communication skills, candidates must also have excellent administrative skills - computers skills (MS Excel particularly), organizational skills, analytical, etc.
This position will primarily entail over-the-phone benefit communications.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- General Lines (Life/Health) Insurance Agent License in the state of Texas required before hire date
- Minimum 2 or more years experience in the life/health insurance/employee benefits field
- Strong, natural ability to communicate - effective, personable and professional
- Customer focused
- Highly self-motivated and results driven
- High level of integrity
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word and Excel)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience in the life/health insurance industry, employee benefits, customer service, and/or sales.
This is a salary position with a base compensation of $35,000 annually plus incentive opportunities for reaching specific performance goals. Maximum annual incentive opportunity is up to $21,500. Average annual salary (base plus incentive) is approximately $50,000.
