Executive Director In Training
Empire Education Group (www.empire.edu) the premier system of Cosmetology Career Schools currently operates 94 campuses in 20 states. Our company is seeking individuals to join our team helping to positively change people’s lives through industry leading education in the cosmetology field. Currently we are accepting resumes for position of Executive Director in Training. We are looking for candidates who have a desire to learn our business are open to relocation in any of the 20States we currently operate in.
The Executive Director in Training (EDIT) Program is an opportunity for the right candidate(s) to learn our business from the ground up. Via a comprehensive operational training program that includes in class, online, phone based, web based, field based, project based and case studies, the EDIT candidate will learn all aspects of school operations including admissions, accounting and finance, P&L management, compliance, general operations, education, marketing, financial assistance, human resources and more.
The EDIT candidate will be based at an Empire school and will be mentored by other successful Executive Directors during their training. Once their training is complete, the EDIT candidate will complete an assessment which includes a full day visit to Empire’s Home Office in Pottsville, PA to meet with functional Vice Presidents. After successfully completing the program (12 weeks in length) the EDIT candidate will be assigned to their own school and assume full responsibilities of an Executive Director which include responsibility for the overall general operations, administration and management of the assigned campus.
Requirements
Requirements/Experience:
· Skills/Abilities: Proven P&L and sales management track record. Excellent leadership, supervision, communication and customer service skills. Ability to excel in a high growth fast paced environment.
· Education: Bachelors degree in business or related field required, Masters degree preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years management experience with a heavy emphasis on P&L, sales, operations and customer service management.
· Relocation: Ability to relocate to any of the 20 states Empire currently operates in. Near term needs include Arizona, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Georgia
