Summary – GIS Production Lead
Michael Baker Jr., Inc. (a division of Michael Baker Corporation) a leading professional services firm consistently ranked among the top 50 national design firms (ENR 2008) seeks a GIS Production Lead (GIS Specialist II) for our Chicago, IL office.
Requirements
GIS Production Lead
Requirements - GIS Production Lead :
Qualified candidates will have a 4-year degree in GIS, Geography or Related Field and 5 – 7 years GIS experience including building and editing GIS databases, floodplain mapping, GIS hydrology extensions, watershed studies, terrain modeling and analysis, and automated floodplain delineation.
Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) experience is preferred.
Client experience including FEMA and/or USACE is preferred.
Software proficiency in Arc View, Arc Info, Arc Extensions, ArcGIS, GPS systems, Arc Map (8.3, 9.1, 9.2, and 9.3) is required.
Knowledge of FEMA’s HAZUS-MH tools is preferred.
