We’re looking for talented instructors to join the team at our Lafayette, LA Campus on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Allied Health Department Chairperson, this individual will:

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

·Instruct and evaluate students in your area of specialty with approved materials.

·Prepare lesson plans in accordance with course syllabi.

·Keep up-to-date with, and effectively use, technology and media in classes.

·Track student attendance and grades.

·Help the Campus to control attrition.

·Attend faculty/staff meetings and in-service meetings.

·Act as a conduit of information between campus administrators and students.

·Coordinate and obtain approval for field trips and guest speakers.

·Implement and adhere to all school policies.

·Participate in graduation ceremonies.

·Perform other duties/participate in special projects as assigned.

·Solid logic/reasoning ability

·Solid organizational skills

·Good math ability

·Good word processing/spreadsheet/Internet skills

Education/Experience Needed:

·BA or BS degree

·At least five (5) years of practical work experience in medical insurance and coding

·Teaching experience desired
