Description Delivers physical therapy modalities to hospital inpatients and outpatients as assigned; performs initial assessment, establishes goals; follows standard of care in the delivery of modalities and evaluates progress; maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.  Current Texas PT licensure.  Current CPR Healthcare Provider.

1 year experience is preferred. Experience in physical disabilities, splinting, and outpatient care is preferred.

Ability to work at a fast pace and to prioritize multiple assignments/projects and respond to numerous requests;  ability to resolve conflicts among staff and to work collaboratively with department director, physicians and other members of the healthcare team;  ability to ensure operational efficiency;  ability to problem solve and make decisions;  ability to exercise self-control and tolerate stress when dealing with multiple requests and/or conflicting demands from multiple customers.
Requirements Responsible for the delivery of physical therapy services to hospital inpatients and outpatients as assigned.  Performs assessments, establishes goals, performs therapy, assess progress and modifies treatment plan and goals based on need of patients including but not limited to neurological, orthopedic,general medicine, oncology and other specific disease requiring physical therapy intervention. Participates in coordination of care with department manager, physicians, department staff and ancillary services. Promotes and maintains a high customer service level. Responsible for the delegation of duties to support staff and maintains accountability of delegation.
