Attorney/Lawyer/ In-House Counsel – Bloomfield Hills area

Confidential search for an Oakland County, privately held medical supply company conducting business nationwide.  Will be based at a corporate office in the Bloomfield Hills area as in-house Counsel.  Reporting to the owner of the company, this individual will also handle administrative and labor matters for several other business entities.  Experience must include a diversified background in preparing and negotiating business contracts and litigation-having worked files from start to finish.  Experience in Oakland  County Courts is useful.   Strong negotiation abilities along with outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.   

Good computer skills are also needed.  Require J.D. degree from ABA accredited law school and must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan.   Requires at least 5-10 years working as an attorney with experience in general corporate matters, either in a law firm or industry.  New grads and those with automotive experience only will not be considered.

Excellent compensation package.

Candidates with ties to the Michigan area are preferred.
