Godwin Pumps, world-leading manufacturer of diesel driven portable industrial pumps, is searching for an individual experienced in the equipment rental industry to set up and maintain work orders and distribute parts for busy sales/rental facility in North Charleston, South Carolina.

This individual will manage the branch inventory of spare parts for Godwin pumps (diesel, electric and hydraulic), generators and light towers as well as customer owned equipment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Complete purchase orders and ensure pricing is correct
• Receive all incoming goods verifying quantities received against quantities shipped
• Complete Return-To-Vendor forms when shipping goods back
• Open Work Orders for fleet equipment returning off-rent as well as customer equipment
• Issue parts to mechanics for repair of equipment and record appropriately on Work Order
• Relieve inventory parts when distributed
• Monitor stocking levels and order based on parts usage
• Maintain service records and historical repair information.  Maintain fleet files for all equipment (including vehicles) and customer repairs.
• Provide parts pricing to branch personnel as needed
• Package and ship goods as required
• Conduct weekly inventory of all serial numbered equipment as well as cycle counts and trial inventories when necessary

General Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of diesel engine parts and construction equipment 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy
• Considerable standing, walking, lifting and carrying (up to 70 pounds)
