Description An outstanding University in Minneapolis is currently seeking a Nursing Faculty Member to join our outstanding staff.  Faculty members have three dimensions of responsibilities within the position: Teaching, Service, and Scholarship. 

This year round position incorporates both didactic (theoretical) and clinical instruction.  The position is full time.  Provide Instruction to approximately thirty students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, including classroom lectures and laboratory training.  Responsibilities will include local off-site clinical rotation supervision of students.

Teaching:
 - Student Awareness: interacting with students, promoting and assessing student academic achievement, motivating and counseling students.
 - Instructional: Effectively plan and organize lectures and labs in accordance with course outlines, present course material in a manner that will interest and motivate students, prepare and effectively utilize homework, maintain class discipline, assist students in assigned lectures and labs, along with other instructional responsibilities.

Service:
 - Administrative: Enforce college rules, report class attendance, submit grades and records accurately and promptly, and report any college-related problems.
 - Professional: Serve on Academic Committee which includes curriculum Development and Assessment of Student Academic Achievement, actively participate in college activities, adapt to course assignments and scheduling needs along with of professional responsibilities.

Scholarship:
 - Professional and Personal Development in Teaching Discipline: Complete degrees appropriate to the courses taught if needed and remain current in teaching discipline.
 - Scholarship of Teaching: Study the art and science of teaching, complete professional development activities, and experiment with various teaching methods and share the results with colleagues.

Requirements Qualifications
Applicants must have the following:

 - An earned or nearly completed doctorate in nursing or related field (D.N.P, PhD in Nursing, EdD with a Master's degree in nursing).
 - Teaching experience preferred but not required.
 - New graduates are welcome to apply
